Monday, May 9, 2011, the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall audience was witness to another historic night honoring one hundred of the most successful and strong women in Maryland.
As one of their fellow and as a member of the Circle of Excellence group, I wanted to congratulate all of them and especially my dear friends, Suzanne Thompson, Glendora Hughes, Kathleen Cahill, Lisa Hayes, and also my fellow Circle of Excellence winners, especially Ferrier Stillman.
Being surrounded by all of these amazing women was extremely energizing and inspiring.
I also wanted to thank The Daily Record for their sponsorship and for their tireless people who have spent hours of work behind the scenes creating such an outstanding event every year, especially Tom Linthicum, my editor for his leadership of the event, and to Chris Eddings and Suzanne Fischer – Huettner.
We welcome these women’s wonderful leadership tips and guidance for this year, and we look forward to next year’s candidates!
