Louise Phipps Senft meets Peter Vidmar

After winning two gold medals in 1984 at the Gymnastics Olympics and a life-long career in the sports arena, Peter Vidmar decided to embark on a whole new task: that of telling people how he managed to succeed. Peter is now a motivational speaker as well as the Co-Chairman of the US Olympic Committee Summer Sports Summit.

He guides himself by three principles: Risk, Originality and Virtuosity, in advising executives and partners on how to get out of the box, let change happen and create value.

Whether you are into the "organic management" trend or not you will find this of interest, as most topics that he touches on - in the professional arena - also apply in most of our personal lives as well. Peter does most of its speaking presentations in his gymnastics leotard while exercising on the pommel horse. His engagement and his physical strength motivate large audiences to challenge their existing organizational structure to a new “fit”.

Louise Phipps Senft attended one of his most recent presentations at an Accelerent executive breakfast and the two speakers had the chance to connect over topics of mindfulness and relational interactions.

The next Accelerent Executive Breakfast will host another sportsperson, Desmond Howard, Heisman Throphy winner and NFL wide receiver.
